No partner required.
Level: Beginner, Intermediate
In acro terms, a ‘washing machine’ starts from a particular pose and ends in the same exact pose thus creating a transitional cycle or loop that can be repeated over and over. We’ll focus on learning and breaking down acrobatic skills and transitions to work towards 4-step (or 3, or maybe 2!) by the end of the session.
This workshop is designed based on progressive learning for all levels of practitioners.
Founder of Jyan Yoga Studio, Jiamin’s training background as an international Ballroom dancer and yoga teacher has given her a thorough understanding of body movement and mental awareness that is rooted in the Acro practice. As Singapore’s first AcroVinyasa certified instructor, Jiamin is passionate in building the acro community and offers regular Acro classes and workshops at her studio. Combining elegant dance movement, in-depth working experience of people with back injuries, and her love for Yoga, these are huge driving forces in her desire to teach and spread the joy of Yoga and Acro to the community.
