Hip-Focused Flow

Duration: 90-mins
Level: All-Levels

In this practice, yogis and movers will focus on exploring the full range of motion within the hip joints, both in the passive and active sense. In the traditional yoga practice, we are often asked to push the limits of our hips and pelvis with outside leverage or force to create the “space” and “depth” needed for more open hips. This practice will challenge the use of our hips in both the traditional sense and from a mobility perspective. Yogis and movers should expect an arm balance or two, giving us some time on the hands as well!

Strong Back, Open Heart Flow

Duration: 90-mins
Level: All-Levels

This practice is all about opening up the heart space and front body lines via learning to actively use the posterior body to engage, create space and support what’s in front. One could call this a “backbend practice”, but the intention is not to depend the backbend, but rather strengthen the back in order to open the front. Yogis and movers should expect some familiar movements, as well as some unorthodox movement patterns as well!

About Dice Iida-Klein

Dice began teaching yoga in 2008 after completing my 200HR Anusara teacher training in Los Angeles. For the next five years, he taught full time teaching for Equinox gyms, Blackdog Yoga, Updog Yoga, and various other studios throughout LA. In 2010, Dice was welcomed into the YogaGlo (now Glo) family, which opened the doors to connect with the global yoga community.
For the last 10 years, Dice has travelled globally, running retreats, teaching workshops, teaching at festivals and leading teacher trainings. As his practice of yoga, self inquiry, and movement grows and expands, so does his offerings. By exploring modalities outside of the “yogic” realm, Dice began to find a new appreciation for the human body and what it’s capable of. Dice is currently studying with the FRC group, delving into mobility and its function in the movement world. He continues to combine his love of mobility with his love of yoga, creating a beautiful marriage of the mindfulness practice.
